“The Bridport competition is one of the most prestigious, and the standard of entries published in the prize anthology - poetry, short stories and flash fiction - is incredibly high so I was immensely pleased and excited to hear my short story had been highly commended.

"Writing is a pretty isolating business and to have my work recognised by the short story judge Tessa Hadley, is something to be treasured.”

Jennifer Bailey (UK) – highly commended, Short Story competition 2016
